During my co-op at the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences, I contributed to Omnia, the alumni magazine for the School of Arts and Sciences. The publication highlights the impact and relevance of liberal arts at Penn through stories about faculty research, alumni, and current issues.
I designed two editorial spreads for the magazine, including “A Champion for the Liberal Arts,” which features an interview with Peter Struck, Stephen A. Levin Family Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. I also created layouts for the recurring sections “Insomnia” and “Last Look.”
In addition to layout design, I illustrated small spot illustrations for the article “Emergency Response,” which discusses collaborative approaches to addressing complex global challenges such as climate change. These illustrations were designed to support the editorial content while adding visual clarity and engagement to the spreads.
